Software controls and their explanation

1. Help : Display available help on selected phone and model
2. Brand & Model : Dropdown lists to select needed phone brand and model
3. Unlock Menu : Click to activate unlock menu and access unlocking functions
4. Flash Menu : Firmware upgrade, debrand, decustomize, change main phone language
5. GDFS Menu : This function is used in conjunction with ARM+AVR flashing. It removes remaining operator customization, branding, settings and start up logo
6. Unlock Phone + Read User Code : Press to perform the selected functions (credit discounted)
   Check RSA or Test Cable : Press to test cable (no credit discounted)
7. Port : Select from available com ports
   Problem determining which port to select?
8. Cable Speed : Select lower speed for more stable connection
9. DTR, RTS options : Check/Uncheck if phone can not connect to PC
10. Original Sony Ericsson PC-Suite USB Cables : Select one of the checkboxes for the cable you are using

12. Info : Press to check available credits
13. Download area : Access to download area

Installation and setup

1. Download unlocking software and drivers (use login info you received from us)
   Download link
2. Using Winzip or Winrar extract the content of the file.
   

Cables used with Total Multiserver and driver installation

Use only cables compatible with the unlock software.
See cable compatability chart to determine which cable fits your phone. Multiserver or Cruiser cables require drivers to be installed prior to connecting the phone.

• Connect cable to a vacant USB port on your PC. Cruiser cable is externally powered and requires a 3 volt power source (equivalent of 2 AA batteries).

• Select "No, not this time" and click "Next"

Note:

With DSS-20, DSS-22, DSS-25, DCU-60, Mini-USB cables use original drivers supplied with those cables.

Phone connection problems?

Unlocking : Sim lock, Network lock, User code

1. Make sure your mobile phone's battery is FULLY CHARGED. Battery discharge during unlocking/flashing process may damage the phone.
2. Power off phone, remove battery and sim card, reconnect battery and connect cable to phone and PC.
   Compatible cables.
3. Enter username and password [11], select phone and model from the dropdown list [2].
4. Click 'Unlock Menu' tab [3].
5. Check off 'Generate ATS' option.
6. Press 'Unlock Phone + Read User Code' [6].
7. When prompted shortly press phone's "Power" button and follow the on-screen instructions. Note that phone has to stay off all the time.
   
   Unlocking for SonyEricsson T39 requires ONE credit.

Unlocking : Security Code

Security code allows access to the main user area of the phone. It is also known as:

• Security Code
• User Code
• Phone Code
• Lock code

Please note, PUK and PIN codes can't be recovered by this method, you have to contact your service provider for that.

1. Power off phone, remove battery and sim card, reconnect battery and connect cable to phone and PC. Phone has to be off.
2. Enter username and password, select phone and model (Sony Ericsson T39) from the dropdown list [2].
3. Click 'Unlock Menu' tab [3].
4. Check off 'Generate ATS' option.
5. Press 'Unlock Phone + Read User Code' [6]. This will both unlock Service Provider lock and read security code from the phone.
6. When prompted shortly press phone's "Power" button and follow the on-screen instructions. Note that your Sony Ericsson T39 has to stay off all the time.
   
   Security Code unlocking for SonyEricsson T39 requires ONE credit.

Flashing : Firmware upgrade, Debranding, Decustomizing, Repair

This function also repairs phones with blinking and white screen, mobile phones with message 'Configuration error, Please contact your network operator or service center'. To enable all the features of the upgraded firmware it is recommended to do settings reset after performing this flashing procedure. For this go to Menu -> Settings -> Master Reset -> Reset Settings.

1. Power off phone, remove battery and sim card, reconnect battery and connect cable to phone and PC. Phone has to remain off.
2. Enter username and password, select phone and model from the dropdown list [16].
3. Check off 'Generate ATS' option.
4. Enter download area [13] and download required flash files. The list of available files will appear in the output window [20]
5. Click 'Flash Menu' tab [17] and select previously downloaded firmware and default language [18] whose versions MUST match. Both files have to be flashed at the same time.
6. Press 'Program Files to Phone Memory' [19].
7. When prompted shortly press phone's "Power" button and follow the on-screen instructions. Note that phone has to stay off all the time.
8. In rare cases GDFS zone will have to be flashed to fully decustomize the phone. GDFS is the area where all provider-related settings are stored so if your phone is heavily branded click on 'GDFS Menu' tab [5], select a previously downloaded GDFS decustomization file [20] and flash the phone with it. GDFS file has to be flashed after AVR+ARM flashing.
   
   AVR+ARM Flashing for SonyEricsson T39 requires ONE credit.
   AVR+ARM+GDFS Flashing for SonyEricsson T39 requires TWO credits.

Flashing : Language Change

1. Power off phone, remove battery and sim card, reconnect battery and connect cable to phone and PC. Phone must remain off.
2. Enter username and password, select phone and model from the dropdown list [16].
3. Check off 'Generate ATS' option.
4. Enter download area [13]. The list of available files will appear in the output window [20]. Select and download ARM file with the latest date and firmware version (e.g. R1B027 on the picture) and required AVR language file. Note, that the firmware version of both AVR and ARM files MUST match. Explanation of language acronyms.
5. Click 'Flash Menu' tab [17] and select previously downloaded firmware and default language [18]. Both files have to be flashed at the same time.
6. Press 'Program Files to Phone Memory' [19].
7. When prompted shortly press phone's "Power" button and follow the on-screen instructions. Note that phone has to stay off all the time.
   
   Language change for SonyEricsson T39 requires ONE credit.
