Unlock tutorial : Sierra Wireless 320U, 770S, 771S

1. Make sure device is not connected to the internet.
   
   
2. Connect device to PC via USB. After installation, make sure modem software (if there is one installed) is not running in the background, it must be completely closed.

3. Open device manager on your PC and make sure device appears there under network adapters.
   
   
   
4. Enter login details [1] that you received from us.
   
   
5. Click on "Check login" button [2] to verify the number of credits [3]
   
   
   
   
   If you are getting error 62 or other connection error make sure that firewall and antivirus on your PC is disabled. Also change adapter binding settings.
   
   
   In case of error "Network adapters has same IP subnet! Please change network card or router IP address to different subnet."
   Go to Control Panel > Network Connections > Right click on your modem connection > Properties > Internet protocol (TCP/IP v4) > Properties
   
   and set these values
   IP: 192.168.X.1
   (where X is a number different from active devices's IP address) Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
   
   
   
6. Detect device by selecting SierraWireless/NETGEAR [4] and Autodetect for model [5] and click "Search" [6]
   
   
7. After the modem has been successfully detected you can proceed to unlocking [7]
   
   If you can't log in or getting error connecting to server see adapter binding settings
8. After you see that the modem was successfully unlocked, restart it by disconnecting and connecting back. Set correct APN for different operator's card (if you do not have APN or don't know it, call operator of the sim card that you are trying to use device with). Now you can use it with any SIM card
   
   Resetting device to factory defaults can sometimes relock it. In this case use same credentials to repeat the unlocking. No credits are required for this operation.
