Riff box 2 supports new models for Boot repair HTC One M8 SU / ULSA (AT&T), One M8w, Desire 820n, Desire Eye 4G M910n
New update for Riff box 2 added boot repair via ISP for the following mobile phones:
- Samsung Galaxy A3 LTE A300F - Boot Repair/Unbrick via ISP
- Samsung Galaxy A5 LTE A500F - Boot Repair/Unbrick via ISP
- HTC One M8 ULCA (AT&T) (M8Ulca (0P6B12000)) – Dead Boot Repair / Unbricking via ISP
- HTC One M8w 4G LTE (M8Wlv (0P6B20000)) – Dead Boot Repair / Unbricking via ISP
- HTC Desire Eye 4G LTE EMEA M910n (0PFH11000) – Dead Boot Repair / Unbricking via ISP
- HTC Desire 820n (0PFJ40000) – Dead Boot Repair / Unbricking via ISP
- HTC Desire HTC One M8Su (0PKV10000) – Dead Boot Repair / Unbricking via ISP
Resurrection procedure via ISP connection
- Get access to phone's PCB board;
- Check schematics picture for solder positions of CLK, DAT0, CMD and GND signals;
- Remove (de-solder) the CLK resistor (30R);
- Solder CLK, DAT0, CMD and GND wires to the specified pads on the PCB;
- Attach battery
- Connect USB Data cable (in some cases also attach battery);
- Make sure phone ISP is selected in the list of models;
- Click Resurrect button;
- Wait till software signals a successful operation completion;
- Disconnect USB cable and battery, de-solder wires and solder back the CLK resistor;
